Covenant Foundation's purpose is to raise funds and awareness to support Covenant Health's 150-year legacy of providing quality compassionate care.
Formerly Caritas Foundation, Covenant Foundation was formed on April 1, 2016 to increase fundraising capacity and promote community health, awareness and education of Covenant Health and Catholic health care; and to raise funds to support excellence in patient care, research, and education at Covenant facilities across Alberta.
Covenant Foundation supports 20 Covenant facilities, including: Banff Mineral Springs Hospital, Chateau Vitaline, Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre, Evanston Summit, Foyer Lacombe, Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Holy Cross Manor, Martha's House, Misericordia Community Hospital, St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital, St. Joseph's General Hospital, St. Joseph's Home, St. Marguerite Manor/Dulcina Hospice, St. Michael's Health Centre, St. Teresa Place, St. Therese Villa, Saint-Thomas Health Centre, Youville Home, Villa Caritas, and Villa Marie.
