Board of Directors

Tourism Medicine Hat is managed by the Medicine Hat Destination Marketing Organization Society under contract through the City of Medicine Hat. The Medicine Hat Destination Marketing Organization Society is an industry-led non-profit organization that exists to strengthen Medicine Hat's tourism profile through destination awareness. The Board of Directors, listed below give strategic direction and oversight to the team as services are delivered to the City, tourism industry, and visitors to our City and region.

Some of Mikes favourite things to do in Medcine Hat include floating down the South Saskatchewan River, and hanging out in the Historic Downtown grabbing a coffee and checking out some local shops.

Greg Morrison | Vice Chair
Medicine Hat Mavericks
You can find Greg at lots of local events all summer long, including Medicine Hat Jazzfest, Mavericks Games, and of course the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede.

Mike Ractliffe | Treasurer
Cypress Hills Interprovicial Park   
One of Mikes favourite things to do in Medicine Hat is heading out for a walk or bike ride on the trails through the river valley parks, and then heading into downtown to one of our local coffee shops for a fresh coffee and snack! 

Tracy Noullett | Secretary

Tracy enjoys a mix of outdoor fun and cultural experiences. She often frequents Medalta in the Historic Clay District touring, or enjoying the Market. She also enjoys heading out to Echodale Park for a walk, swim, or float down the South Saskatchewan River.

Chris Hellman | Director

Chris enjoys the culture in Medicine Hat, you can often find him downtown at the Esplanade at gallery openings and the Art Walks. 

Kelli Ireland | Director 
Kelli can be found at most live music events in Medicine Hat - Friday nights at Inspire Cafe, and Cars & Guitars is one of her favourite events in the city. 

Les Pearson | Director
Les loves hanging out at Tongue on the Post winter folk fest, listening to the local and travelling musicians. He also enjoys finding and showing lots of the local art that is all around town - if you are looking for a specific James Marshall sculpture, just ask him.

Peter Swain | Ex Officio

Peter loves to live outdoors, you can find him out of the trails biking or walking, hanging out in the local and regional parks, and then after it all sipping a new beer at one of Medicine Hats local breweries.
