Birdbelly is the new artistic moniker of Metis singer/songwriter Cynthia Hamar. A Canadian Folk Award Nominee - this will be her first time at note: and if her first album under the name Birdbelly is any indication , we are in for a treat.
This project is a cinematic, poetic Americana project that blends deep roots with spiritual insight!
The album "The Wind The Wood" has been freshly released and the first single Black Horses has been heard on CKUA and on repeat in my car.
