Join the Interpretive Program Thursday, August 27th, from 8:30 - 9:30pm as we explore the Redcliff area for the Northern Scorpion. On this night walk we will explore questions such as: Why does the Northern Scorpion come out at night? Why do they glow under blacklight? What do they eat? What eats them? We will share the answers to these questions and more during this public program. Registration is required and spots are limited! This program is by donation; we accept cash card or cheque at the Nature Centre. But will only be able to accept cash the night of the program. 100% of the donations received go to funding future programs and supporting our non-profit organization. All participants are encouraged to wear close-toed hiking shoes/boots (over the ankle is preferred), and long, loose-fitting pants. Supplies for observing scorpions will be provided. Visibility will be limited, and we will be walking off trail around in the coulee. This program may not be suitable for participants with limited mobility.
