Join ceramic artist Danya Mayne for a 4-week intermediate pottery class where you’ll create your own stunning terracotta planter from scratch. These pieces are larger statement planters, perfect for brightening up your home, patio, or garden.
Important: This class is designed for those who already have wheel throwing experience. You should feel confident centering and pulling up walls, as we’ll be working on bigger forms that require a strong foundation on the wheel.
In This Class You’ll:
Learn how to throw larger planters using a supportive coil technique
Work with warm, earthy terracotta clay
Create a finished planter up to approximately 40 cm tall
Leave with a natural, unglazed terracotta finish
