Message from the Fire Chief “On behalf of the City of Medicine Hat and Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services, we are excited for the opportunity to host a FireFit event this year. As Firefighters, we train not only to protect our communities but to push the limits of our strength, resilience, and teamwork. The FireFit Challenge is more than just a competition—it's a celebration of every firefighter's dedication and discipline to the line of duty. This year, we celebrate our 125th anniversary as a department and having the opportunity to host this event and showcase the incredible skill, stamina, and dedication of our fire service professionals with the community we protect provides a great sense of pride for our department.
