The Dunmore Equestrian Society and Rugged Rodeo present "THE HERITAGE GATHER 2024" showcasing Indigenous culture and Western Heritage. the Gather bringi to life authentic western history and Indigenous culture and ceremonies. -Powwow demonstrations with the Wild Tongues Drum Group open the Friday and Saturday evening Rodeo's at 6:00 pm. -Open Rodeo with cash prizes to start at 7:00 pm. -Free Wagon Rides Friday and Saturday evening during the Rodeo -Muttin' Bustin' for kids 5 and 6 years old -Half time entertainment is Cowboy Joel trick roping while riding his trained bison Indy and longhorn steer Jasper -Cowboy Joel also sets up his vintage rope making machine and makes souvenir ropes and teaches the kids and adults how to swing a trick rope -Saturday afternoon Indigenous artisan Brenda Mercer "White Horse Woman" will teach a leather medicine bag workshop. this is free for the first 40 people to sign up -Saturday evening is the live local band "Rent To Own" formerly Mahoney, starting at 9:00 pm at the Beer Gardens
