Help Us Make History at MHC
Be part of an epic, record-breaking first to help end period poverty in Medicine Hat. On April 13, the community is invited to help build the Longest Snake of Generosity, made entirely out of donated period products.
Sport & Event Marketing & Management students are teaming up with the Skateboard Association, MHC Rattlers, Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub, the Redcliff Youth Centre, and several local businesses serving as drop-off locations to tackle period poverty, and they need the community’s support to make it a massive success.
How long can it grow? Every donated box will be counted and the snake’s length will be measured throughout the event.
Come out, bring a donation, and walk the red carpet to add to the snake.
Enjoy an amazing afternoon featuring:
• Live music with Natalie Roberts
• Game stations
• Light refreshments
• A giant snake head and tail created by talented Art & Design students
