Enjoy down home entertainment at its finest, October 4th and 5th, at the Medicine Hat College, at a western music and cowboy poetry event. Anyone can have the opportunity to take part at 7 p.m. Friday night, with a free open mic. The fun begins on Saturday at noon as 15 different entertainers from across Southern Alberta sing and recite their works. Tickets for the afternoon show are $10. Supper, pre-ordered, will be at 5.45. The evening performance begins at 7 p.m. with 4 headline acts - singer/songwriters and poets Phyllis Rathwell, Greg Herman, Noel Burles and Dusty Dee Litchfield. Tickets for the evening show are $25.
