This guided nature walk will take place at Police Point Park where we will walk along the river and discuss common behaviours, features and functions of wintering fish found in the South Saskatchewan River. Meet at the Nature Centre at 2:30, Friday January 31st 2025, where we will also discuss any threats these fish face and the important ecological role fish play, focusing on why we should care about health of our aquatic ecosystems. Participants are encouraged to bring any enthusiasm or expertise about the South Saskatchewan River, and don't forget to dress for the weather!
