Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival is a free, family-friendly event happening in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Over a dozen eye-catching hot air balloons will float amongst the Medicine Hat sky for four days, from May 23-26, 2024!

Dusk (8:30ish) Balloon Glow: Located in Kin Coulee Park

• Hot air balloons are inflated, illuminated, and tethered to the ground so people can walk around and see them up close.

Community Day: Located in Downtown Medicine Hat

• 11am-5pm Rise Up Market: Located at Medicine Hat Public Library
• 11am-3pm Youth Art Party: Located at the Medicine Hat Esplanade
• 11am-4pm Food Trucks: Located at Towne Square
• 2:00: Movie at the Monarch
