Since our inception in January 2013, Back Alley Fitness has been the heartbeat of Medicine Hat’s fitness scene. What began as a few group classes centered around fitness and improving strength and endurance has evolved into a fitness sanctuary dedicated to real, sustainable results. In a world obsessed with quick fixes, we champion a different approach—one that builds lasting habits for a healthy, vibrant life.

At Back Alley Fitness, we redefine success, encouraging you to focus on the barbell’s weight rather than the scale’s. We infuse fun into fitness, making you crave the empowering feeling of challenging yourself. Our community thrives on shared goals and mutual encouragement, creating lasting friendships within our walls.

With 30 diverse weekly classes – from resistance training to HIIT circuit to cardio kickboxing – and 24-hour access, we prioritize flexibility and inclusivity. Over 11 years, we’ve expanded to offer powerlifting, youth programs, bootcamps, nutrition coaching, and personal training.
