South Saskatchewan River Bluffs

While walking through Strathcona Island Park on the Great Trail you will likely get to a point where through the trees you will see the river bluffs. They are incredibly majestic cliffs created by glaciation and many years of erosion from the South Saskatchewan River. Around the bluffs you can often see wildlife such as pelicans, eagles, blue herons and more. It's a spectacular spot to get photos at sunset.
