The Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP) – Palliser Zone is conducting its first SKI SWAP.   It is the ONE DAY of the year where skiers can turn their old equipment into cash and get some great bargains on new and used ski and snowboard equipment.

Equipment Registration:        Friday, October 18            5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Sale:                                         Saturday, October 19       9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Location:                                 Downtown YMCA             150 Ash Ave SE Medicine Hat

The public can consign their used equipment in the SKI SWAP and the ski patrol will sell it for them for a commission.   The SKI SWAP is a great way for skiers to "recycle" equipment they may have outgrown.

Then, for the best deals on new and used equipment in town, visit the SKI SWAP on Saturday.  There is a wide selection of skis, boots, poles for downhill and cross country skis as well as snowboards and other skiing supplies and equipment.

The Canadian Ski Patrol is a nationally registered charity, comprised of highly-trained volunteers, dedicated to promoting ski safety and providing first aid and rescue services to skiers.  Each year the volunteer members of the CSP provide their services to skiers at areas all across Canada FREE OF CHARGE

In Medicine Hat, our volunteers come to the aid of skiers at Hidden Valley Ski Resort located in Elkwater Provincial Park.  We are also involved in several non-skiing events around the community including the Conquer the Valley Family Run, Battle Creek Showdown, Conquer the Coulee, Elkwater Mile High Triathlon and the Futterwaken Trail Run.

This is one of our major fund raising event for our zone.  Proceeds from the SKI SWAP stay in the community and go towards the purchase of first aid and rescue equipment as well as the safety and education programs of the Canadian Ski Patrol in Palliser Zone.  For more information, check out our CSP Palliser Zone Facebook page.
